Booking T&C’s & Paper Work

This page provides important booking terms & conditions to note for your travel to Namibia and safari with Lark Journeys

Insurance

Lark Journeys requires that clients take out comprehensive travel insurance including medical cover a well as a cancellation and curtailment cover. On our guided trips passenger liability insurance is provided but clients still require their own insurance. Lark Journeys reserves the right to request proof of insurance from our guests.

Health Advice

As a general requirement for all travelers, we advise all our guests to consult their health care providers well in advance for all health precautions for their trip to Namibia.

Malaria remains a major precaution for Southern Africa and it is recommended that travelers take the necessary precautions. Cases of malaria are mostly recorded in the Northern part of Namibia, thus travelers should take all necessary precautions including:

  • Insect repellent lotion or sprays
  • Sleep under mosquito nets
  • Keep doors and windows closed.
  • Wear clothes that cover your body

The Southern part of Namibia is regarded as malaria risk-free. We recommend that all guests seek medical advice before embarking on a tour.

Visas

All Travelers require a valid passport for entry into the country. The passport has to be valid for at least six months beyond the intended stay in Namibia and have enough pages for entry and exit stamps. A return ticket is also required as proof of leaving the country after your stay. Citizens of some countries do not require Visas to visit Namibia for tourism purposes thus we advise you to contact the nearest Namibian embassy for information regarding visa requirements and the application procedures.
